Why Bokful exists
Appointments are still made through messages and missed calls, and the software built to fix that was built around a front desk and priced for a salon that has one. Bokful is free while you work alone. It is one product from a rented chair to a chain, so outgrowing it never means leaving it. And the diary is the part it is best at: the times it offers a client are the ones you are genuinely free, in your own timezone, with nothing double-booked. We build it in the shop, with the owners using it.

What we stand for
Nobody is double-booked
Overlapping bookings are refused by the database itself, not merely checked in the app, so two people cannot take the same slot even if they tap at the same second.
Timezones and daylight saving are handled with it: 9am means 9am where the business is.
Transparent by default
Every price, duration and policy is on the page before anyone commits. Nothing to ask for, nothing discovered afterwards.
Booking costs a client nothing, and a business working alone nothing either.
We do not hoard data
We store what a booking needs and nothing more. No advertising pixels and no third-party trackers: the live site loads one analytics tag, and the address it reports is stripped of every query parameter but a short allowed list.
